I just uploaded Chapter 8 of 'Echoes in the Silence'. It was a bit longer between chapters than I wanted, but real life has had me sidelined, so my apologies.
I want to take a moment to thank the people who sent me notes, happy to see the site updated and the story underway again...you all ROCK! Thanks for the motivation. The new chapter is HERE Enjoy!

Hey Everyone! Long time no update. Sadly, all my videos are currently offline. My web host had an issue with copyright infrigement so I took them down for now. I am working on a work around, so they won't be gone forever. If you're looking for the Josh & Donna fan videos that I made, they are online at YouTube. Everything else is safe and sound but not currently available.
For the Hayden fans out there - after much prodding I've decided to start writing Echoes in the Silence again. Readers of Pilgrim Soul will hopefully remember that I tend to write slowly (that comes from rewriting each chapter several times), so please don't expect daily updates, but chapters will be coming. In fact, I put a new one up tonight. Hope you enjoy it!

Well, here I thought I was going to be around and life had other plans. I *think* this time I'm back though - I hope so since school starts in a week. For the Josh & Donna fans, waiting for me in my inbox was a new creation from Linz. A really great, fun, upbeat video to Eddie Cochrans "Three Steps". I LOVED this one and hope you do too. For the Hayden Christensen fans here, I have lots of news on that front as well. I was lucky enough to be at the Beverly Hilton at the finish of this years Bull Run and got to meet the man again. I'll write up a full report. Most of my pictures are posted on DH.net but I'll get them tagged and uploaded here as well.
It's been a great summer with even more surprises around the corner for the ever evolving site. For the West Wing fans - Don't forget we have Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip coming up this fall on NBC. For the Hayden fans January 2007 will finally see the release of 'Angels and Virgins' (formerly named 'The Decameron'). YEAH!!

Wow! Two months with no updates...I've turned into a webmistress slacker. I know I said this before but my apologies on the delays. It started with computer issues and morphed right into what I like to call Darth Real Life. Too many things on my plate - but life is calming down again.
West Wing is over but not forgotten - and the updates to the rest of the final episode should happen within the next week. I also have plans to continue to build the Josh & Donna History page with some new clips, but as always, updates will be listed here.
For today we actually have a mixed update. First is a Josh & Donna fan video that I simply can't stop watching! It's upbeat, it's extremely well put together, and it just honestly puts a big ol' smile on my face. Many thanks to Nadine for allowing me to host it here. Also online is a new chapter of my Hayden Christensen based fanfiction 'Echoes in the Silence'. It's been stalled for well over a year while I worked out where I wanted the story to go. In fact, I started it long before Episode 3 hit theaters...OUCH that's a long time. Good news is that I think I finally have it figured out and it's back in progress. I posted part 6 and part 7 is about halfway done. If you haven't read it, it's a follow up to my other fanfic 'Pilgrim Soul' and both stories can be found on the Fanfiction page.
It's good to be back - looking forward to getting things running around here again!

My apologies for the delay in West Wing updates - my computer has decided to start complaining about our unexpected temperature rise and has taken to shutting itself down when it senses it *might* overheat. I think I've got a handle on it now so with any luck, the updates should start appearing later this afternoon.
Watch first for highlights from the West Wing Series finale "Tomorrow" and for the new promo for 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip'. Once those are complete I'll backtrack and do the CJ/Danny scenes from 'Institutional Memory' that I said I would since there was no Josh or Donna in that episode.
Thanks for your emails and your patience - it's helping me remain calm in the face of aggrevating technology.

After argueing with my overheating computer for most of yesterday, we have new clips! Bradley Whitford showed up on 'The Today Show' to talk about the end of the West Wing and add in a little plug for Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, picked up by NBC for the fall lineup! Yeah!
The entire cast also appeared on 'Ellen' and occupied 3/4 of the show - so those are up as well. You can find all the clips on the Misc. Appearances page. Hope you Enjoy!

Almost a week between updates - sorry about that. I was sidelined by dental drama, but the wait is over we have 6 new fan videos on line today and the Josh & Donna Music Video Page
I'd like to welcome Jen to our list of video creators, I was hooked on her videos as soon as I saw "I Won't Say I'm in Love" from Disney's Hercules - it fits Donnas POV perfectly. Returning video creators, Starbuck, Linz, and Témérah have all sent in new contributions.
On a personal note, thank you SO much for the feedback on my video, "For Good". The amount of emails is unbelievable and I appreciate every one. I'm very slowly responding to each, so if you haven't received a response, it's on it's way.

This Sunday marks the return of Rob Lowe to The West Wing and he's also out plugging his new movie 'Thank You For Smoking'. His interview on the Ellen show yesterday is now on the Misc. Appearance page. I've split it into two parts - the Interview and then a total fluff piece where she mucks with hair.

It's often difficult for me to believe that The West Wing portion of this site started out as nothing more than a response to a desperate plea for clips from Gaza of Josh & Donna. Now look at it.
Because My-Serendipity was primarily a site for Hayden Christensen, the pages devoted to The West Wing always had his eyes staring back at you from the banner...but not any more, starting today.
The pages here that are dedicated to Josh, Donna, and The West Wing, now have their own banner and I'm very slowly reworking the pages to make them a bit more polished. Something a little more worthy of the over 1 Million page requests we had for March. Thank you all for visiting

Hopefully everyone has enjoyed the clips of "Requiem" and is in need of further Josh/Donna love in preparation for next weeks "Transition" because we have three new Josh & Donna music videos online today.
Our first comes from Janet and the JoshDonnaFF Yahoo Group with "Love Will Come Through." It's a beautiful song and Janet has done a wonderful job.
Starbuck sent in our second video. Set to "Now Comes the Night" by Rob Thomas, it's a tribute to Leo from Josh and Donnas point of view.
The last video is a new one from me. I appreciate everyone who sent in suggestions for songs and I do have them saved, but the one that really reached out to me this time was a suggestion from Susan. The song is called "For Good" and is from the Original Cast Recording of the musical "Wicked". It's sung by Idina Menzel and The West Wing's own Kristin Chenoweth.

For the Hayden Christensen fans who are patiently waiting for him to do SOMETHING in the public eye again, Jane has sent us her first music video set to "Crash" by Gwen Stefani. What tears were left from last weeks West Wing, flowed tonight as the show said goodbye to Leo. There were so many clips that weren't Josh and Donna, but yet, managed to relate back to them, I think I might have set a clip record with 16 this time.

Words can not express how completely moved I was by last nights West Wing. Doing scene clips for an episode that sets the curve for greatness was a challenge I hope I came close to. Honestly, if you didn't see the entire thing, find it on Bravo as soon as it airs, because this is a multi-tissue ride of a lifetime.

I'm also very pleased at how well Josh & Donna: A History is going over. I've had lots of requests to add specific clips, some of which I have, others I still need to get to. New for today are scenes from Season 4's "Holy Night" and "Guns Not Butter". Enjoy!

The teaser trailer had NOTHING on this weeks West Wing! The clips took a while tonight because there were a lot and, honestly, I couldn't stop watching them.
Major KUDOS to Janel & Brad for bringing Josh and Donna to us with a depth and a naturalness that embodies the last 7 years.
The 2nd clip is "Offer Accepted" and is the entire teaser for this episode - thats my way of saying the clip is large, so please don't play it from the site - it will only skip and be frustrating. Right click over the link and choose 'Save Target As' to save it to your computer, then watch it. If you have problems, please let me know.

We are a treasure trove of outstanding Josh/Donna Music Videos and they just keep coming in! We have two more new ones online this morning. "Wonderful World" sung by Aselin Debison is a fresh mix of two classic songs and used to highlight Josh and Donna in a video by Temerah. Linz has sent us a new video as well..."Things Don't Always Turn Out That Way" by The Calling sets the background for lots of Josh and Donna greatness.
Yoli has sent in a new Josh/Donna/Janel/Brad wallpaper for our new wallpaper gallery. If you have wallpapers you'd like to contribute, please let me know...It doesn't have to be Josh/Donna - anything West Wing related is welcome.

As I looked over the list of Directing credits for one Alex Graves - I was struck by the fact that he directed nearly every one of my 'critical' Josh and Donna episodes. So, in honor of his work, I compiled clips from his West Wing credits and created a new music video to "Hooked on a Feelin" by Grand Funk Railroad.

I've never really been happy with the Season 6 West Wing page. The program I had at the time only let me save clips in Real Player, which is a Real Pain in the... well, you get the idea.
Starting today, that page is being updated with short clips from each episode, done in the windows player format. First updated is Episode 1 - NSF Thurmont. Hope that makes viewing them easier.

Can I just say WOW!!! The 24hour stats from March 13th are in and My-Serendipity got 88,715 page hits for The West Wing Season 7 page!!! I think the fans were ready for some resolution!
As the celebration continues, our video creators have sent me new treasures. Starbuck has created an homage to 'The Cold' with Marvin Gaye's "Lets Get It On". Témérah did a beautiful tribute of our favorite couple to "Goodbye My Lover" by James Blunt.

Happy Oscar Night everyone and that means it's only one more week to go before The West Wing returns to NBC. To pass the time and occupy the fan base, our fan video creators have been hard at work. What an exciting time to be a Josh/Donna shipper! The NBC promo monkeys, who normally seem to never watch the series they are promoting, actually got one right! In some media markets yesterday, viewers of the two man bobsled event at the Olympics were treated to a rare sight... Josh and Donna sharing their first kiss as part of the West Wing tv promo spots.
With many many thanks to Suzy K. for capturing it (my local media market was one that did NOT carry the promo), we have it online on the Season 7 page next to 'The Cold' - the episode that will air March 12th.
With the surge of romantic notions comes two new Josh/Donna music videos as well. One by Dawnitella called "Body and Soul" and one by Linz set to "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down. Enjoy!

Since Haydens busy filming movies, the main updates are on The West Wing pages.
We have two new Josh & Donna music videos by Starbuck, "Far Away" and "Wonderful Tonight" as well as links to three other videos by Jen. As the Josh & Donna storylines progress on the final season of The West Wing, it's really a heartwarming tribute to watch their story unfold through the talents of our music video creators.
Season 7's highlights page for West Wing clips of each episode has also been updated. We are (finally) current with aired episodes and now provide a link to the amazing pages at Political-Affairs.net. Each episode title will now open a new window to Fionnas site, and a transcript of each Josh & Donna moment from individual episodes.

It was a beautiful weekend here - a perfect day for the beach, so thats where I was. I highly recommend it. Next weekend I'm off to Los Angeles to catch the Star Wars Costume Exhibit, which should be a blast! Admission is only $5 and it runs through the first part of December, if you're in the area.

Doing the remake of the Anakin "Beautiful Disaster" video was so much fun, I decided to do another one.
Our new video pays homage to my very favorite character of the Star Wars trilogies...R2D2. I really believe he's like an astromech Jedi - because Padme, the Rebellion, ObiWan, Luke, Leia, Han, and pretty much everyone else in the Star Wars universe would be up a creek if not for his heroic and day-saving actions.
Not to mention that he makes me laugh.
So in honor of that 1977 R2D2 Halloween costume that my dad and I worked so hard on... in honor of nearly 28 years of being a proud R2 Fangirl... I give to you "R2D2 - The Astromech Jedi" now available on the Music Video page.

It's finally back! After a much needed break while I reworked where the story was going - the sequel to 'The Pilgrim Soul' is underway again. Two new chapters of 'Echoes in the Silence' are posted on the Echoes Fanfiction page.
I thank you all for your emails asking when it was going to restart and for patiently waiting for it's return. Please keep in mind that I tend to write, rewrite, and rewrite chapters again before posting them, so they take a while, but the storyline is finally clear to me, so we're off and running again.

Its been far too long since I did a fan video, but that streak is over now. I had done a video called 'Beautiful Disaster' after Episode 2 was released. I've decided the song is too perfect to not use it again, but I've changed to the live version this time and have updated the clips to Episode 3 footage.
Papa George, if Lucasfilm is watching - no copyright is intended...I'm just a simple site trying to make their way in the universe and pay homage in whatever way I can to the greatness that is Star Wars. :-)

Tonight marked the start of Season 7 of The West Wing - my favorite tv show and keepers of my favorite non-couple, Josh & Donna!
All Hail Unresolved Sexual Tension!
Yeah, that was supposed to be funny... I just keep hoping the powers that be will write these two into each others arms. They've come so close then PFHT. ugh!
Last year I started posting the Josh/Donna scenes in each episode for the 'shippers' to watch over and over again. I plan on doing that again this year...so there is now a Season 7 page and it's been updated with the clips from last nights show. Enjoy!

It's getting late and hopefully I've managed to get the new pages online without any typos, but with me, you can never tell. I'm happy to announce a new segment of life at My-Serendipity - the return of the Backstreet Boys to the site.
When I revamped the site in June, I took down the BSB pages because they were out of date and not what I wanted for them. Anything new was quickly available at Not-Like-You.com (a GREAT Nick site)...but honestly, I missed having them here.
Starting today you'll find a link on the left to the very limited Backstreet content available so far. Two streaming videos - a random 'Nick' moment and an equally random BSB moment. Along with my three reviews from the Never Gone concert tour.

We have two updates and a correction. It seems that one of my links was broken, so its fixed now. Wow! Over a month since an update - I'm sorry about that. Been a crazy busy summer but everyones back in school and time is more on my side again.
Oddly enough, the next couple of updates aren't going to be Hayden related. I polished off a great summer with back to back Backstreet Boys concerts and they were fantastic! I'm in the process of editing the nearly 400 pictures I have of the three events (two concerts and a souncheck). I've written up the details in three entries to the website that aren't linked from the menus. You can read them starting with Concert #1 at Concord, California. Its been a while since I updated and I apologize for that, but I have a GREAT reason to update now... The cosmos was feeling for me and decided to send me some motivation - in the form of Hayden AND Tove.
Yes, if you can believe it, I met them both this past week in Reno during one of the stops on the Bullrun Road Race. He was amazingly sweet and I'm in the process of writing up a full report. I saw him first when he arrived and he signed my GQ before going into the hotel. Then I saw him inside the lobby and he was gracious enough to take a picture with me and the other fans who were waiting. As if that wasn't enough, he was outside as I was leaving and he signed the Bullrun T-shirt I had bought to commemorate the occassion.
WOW!!!!
The next day I went to watch them leave for the next leg of the race and had a great chat with Tove, who was so kind and undeniably handsome. These two men are just too perfect for words. As a long time fan, you can't help but imagine what he would be like in real life... well, let me say, he's everything good we've pictured and more.
Anyway - the update! We have two new music videos. One by Sarah called 'Wonderwall', a photo tribute to Hayden. The other is a new one by me called 'Dreams Come True' and its a photo medly of the pictures from the encounter weekend. Both can be found on the Music Videos page. Enjoy!

New on the Life As A House page are cast interviews done by FMi TV at the Hollywood Premiere. The clip starts and ends with a trailer and has interviews with Irwin Winkler, Hayden and Mary Steenburgen nestled in between.
On the Misc. Star Wars page we've got an old clip from Late Night with David Letterman on the making of Episode 1 and a newer clip of the Top 10 Things never before said by a 'Star Wars' character.
Finding a home on the Episode 3 page is a clip from CBS Ch.2 - an interview with Hayden about becoming Darth Vader.
Last but not least, Najary has sent me her newest music video. It centers on Darth Vader and can be found on the Music Videos page.

Happy Fathers Day everyone. In honor of the Father of Star Wars, we have 4 new videos today. Done after the press screening for Episode 3, but before the Charity events. They are from KGO, the ABC station in San Francisco.
Interviews with George, Ian, and Rick are available on the Misc. Star Wars page.
The interview with Hayden is available on the Episode 3 page.

WOW! Your feedback to me is incredible and very much appreciated! I love having a place where people all over the world enjoy visiting! So...we wouldn't want you to get bored now would we? There are a few more updates today:
On the Episode 3 page, we have an Austrailian radio interview - thank you to Murray for sending me the link so I could save the file for the site.
On the Music Video page, I'm now hosting two fan videos. Having made a few of these myself, they are VERY labor intensive and its always nice to hear back from people who have enjoyed the work that goes into them. I encourage you to use the email links provided to send feedback.

The site starts a new week on a new server. The new set up will allow me a greater range of options to bring you the videos you seem to really enjoy (thanks to all who've signed the guestbook and sent me email).
If you tried to access the site over the weekend during the move, and found broken links, I apologize. Hopefully it will all be worth it soon. :-)

Well, it's been fun going through my unlabeled videos to find more things to add to the website. Here's todays additions:

Welcome to the new My-Serendipity.net!! Hopefully everything works (I say with heavily crossed fingers) but, as you can tell, the sites grown quite large and the chances that something wrong slipped through is entirely possible.
Please, if you find any links that don't work as expected, drop me a line and let me know so I can get them fixed...there are few things more frustrating than broken links.
Most of the pages have changed, some old videos have been added back as well as new ones. There are more recent videos coming - please keep checking back here and I'll post updates as files are available.
